Vatsal Shah is the Founder of V Juris.
Having more than 15 years of experience which includes working with top notch law firms for several years and 7 years of working as Head Legal (in-house counsel) of Indiabulls Group, he has hands-on experience on the entire life cycle of banking, real estate and other businesses, right from orientation of a deal till successfully litigating with a view to resolve the dispute.
He has unmatched experience in property laws as applicable to the development, transfer, acquisition, society/ condominium/ Federation formation, sale and leasing of real estate for commercial, industrial, agriculture and residential purposes as well as real estate funding and has effectively structure more than 100 deals from both a strategic and commercial perspective to achieve commercial objectives.
With regard to dispute resolution, he is considered for his pragmatic approach and commercial awareness and provides end to end support to its clients, including drawing up dispute resolution strategies and appearing before the courts and tribunals in India. He has commercial, civil, regulatory as well as criminal litigation experience and has devoted substantial attention to solving problems involving land and property disputes, contracts, debt recovery and insolvency, intellectual property and media laws, family and partnership disputes and financial transaction disputes.
Vatsal Shah earned his law degree at the University of Pune, ILS Law College. He also holds a Diploma degree in Corporate Laws and Diploma in Medical Jurisprudence. He gained valuable experience working with law firms in Mumbai viz. Shiralkar& Co., Doijode Associates, Advani& Co., and NaikNaik& Co., known for their real estate, litigation, arbitration (domestic as well international), media & entertainment practices. He has also worked for several years as Head Legal for Indiabulls Real Estate and Indiabulls Group Companies (West Region), before starting his own firm V Juris.
